Whitehouse Family Dental is an updated office that incorporates new dental technologies such as digital radiographs and same-day crowns with a small town family atmosphere.  You will find our staff friendly and caring.  We are all local residents, and we want to get to know you and your family.

Drs. Rick and Kristen Shumate are committed to Continuing Education in order to offer our patients the highest quality dentistry.  They practice Comprehensive Dentistry, which incorporates evaluating the entire masticatory system, from teeth to muscles, joints, and airway, in order to provide stability and wellness to our patients.

Meet Your Dentists

Kristen Shumate, DDS

Dr. Kristen received her doctorate of dental surgery cum laude from The Ohio State University. She graduated with a B.S. in chemical engineering magna cum laude from the University of Toledo.

Richard Shumate, DDS

Dr. Rick is also a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry.  Prior to attending dental school, he graduated from the University of Toledo with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
